Fourth Grade

Students standing in a line with backpacks

In 4th grade, we want our students to be responsible for their own learning. Our learning expectations for our 4th graders are to practice active listening. Active listening means your eyes are on the person speaking, you are listening to what they are saying, and you are making a self-connection to the information being taken in. We also want our students to come to school every day ready to learn. Simple steps to being ready to learn are having your Lenovo tablet charged for the day, having all homework completed, and coming in with a positive attitude. We set high expectations for our students because we want them to put out their best possible effort to succeed in school.
